Romantic Glamping · West Wales
Private hot tubs under the stars. Comfortable double beds. Estuary walks at sunset. Just the two of you, ten minutes from the Pembrokeshire coast.
Check Romantic Weekend AvailabilityWe're a 10-pod glamping site set in the grounds of Broadway Country House in Laugharne — Dylan Thomas' “timeless, mild, beguiling island of a town.” Seven of our ten pods have a private hot tub on their own decking, screened from the neighbours. You step out of the bedroom, into the tub, and the only thing you can hear is the wood pigeon and the estuary in the distance.
The romance bit isn't a marketing line — most weekend bookings here are couples. Hen parties go elsewhere. The pod field is quiet by 10pm. Double bed inside, hot tub on the decking, log burner glow through the window. You don't have to share a spa with anyone.
Walk five minutes down the lane and you're in Laugharne village — the Dylan Thomas Boathouse at sunset, Brown's Hotel for a quiet pint, the 12th-century castle ruins on the estuary, and the Birthday Walk up St John's Hill. Dinner is the village pubs, or Pizza Point or Elaichi Indian delivered to the pod so you never have to get dressed.
Hot tubs are pre-heated and ready to use the minute you check in — no waiting, no faff. Add a Celebration Pack (£53) if you're marking an occasion, order breakfast from the Broadway Country House kitchen for a lazy Saturday morning, and grab the late checkout upgrade (£10) so you don't have to rush out.
Both come with a private hot tub — pick the size.
